My tax return was less than what i was suppose to get?

i was suppose to be getting a little less than 3K and i only ended up getting 2K. What is happening? what am i suppose to do. i dont have any offsets or any debt due. i dont understand why i didnt get my full tax return. Some one help!

Exactly $1,000 less could be the result of a user data entry error, so check that as well.
