Military service member deployed for 6 months out of country but not in a combat zone. Any special requirements?

Place of residence is considered out of country. State tax filing is attached to my home of record. Overseas deployment for 6 months but not in a combat zone. Do I need to adjust any income?

No, if you are not in a combat zone you don't can't exclude any of your income.  You did get an automatic extension of time to file your tax return.  The following is from the TurboTax Help Article:  Military Tax Return Filing and Extensions

Military members on active duty outside of the U.S. or Puerto Rico qualify for an automatic two-month extension — no need to file Form 4868. This pushes the filing deadline back to June 15. To receive this extension, you must attach a statement to your tax return explaining your situation and how you qualify. But, if you owe tax, the IRS will still charge interest and late payment penalties from the regular due date onward.

If you can't file by June 15, you can request an additional four-month extension using Form 4868.
