Military Pay Exclusion - Illinois

Even though I am in the military, my IL state form is telling me I have an error and should NOT have any amount in the Qualifying Military Pay box.  I was an IL resident and an Iowa NonResident

Thank you for your service! Under the federal section of TurboTax please revisit the Personal Info section and be sure you have answered yes here to the question about your military service.

If the issue persists, we recommend deleting the state return and adding it back to reset the return and transfer the federal data back over to the state.  To do this simply click Delete beside Illinois in the State taxes tab and then select it again under "Add a state."
