It sounds as if something is hung in the form. If you are using TurboTax Online or the TurboTax Mobile App:
If you are using TurboTax Online, the most likely reason for a field that won't take information, or will not behave well, is that something in the web browser is not displaying the page properly. The easiest way around this is to simply use a different web browser. You can select from Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, and more. If you need to install another browser, be sure to go to the trusted home site for the software, for security reasons. Or you can clear the cache and cookies in your current browser. If you are using the TurboTax Mobile App, then try opening TurboTax in the browser window on your phone. It will use the same login information but may update and display the page better.
If not, you may need to delete that form entirely, and then re-enter.
Here are the directions to delete the form from your return. This will delete both the form and the entries. If it rebuilds, sometimes there is another form recreating it and both have to be deleted to clear that information.
