I am not sure what state to use as my home of residency since my home of record is Florida but I have a Texas drivers license and address. I am active duty military.

I enlisted in Ca, in 2021 I filled out a form with my branch that changed my home of record to Florida but for some reason still payed taxes in Ca. I have since moved to Texas and have a Texas drivers license and address. Do I file state taxes in Fl, Tx?

If you're active-duty military, your State of Residence for tax purposes is always your military SLR (State of Legal Residence).

Your state of legal residency (SLR) is your “Home of Record,” unless you changed it to another state.  To change the SLR, a DD Form 2058 must be submitted to your local finance officer and accepted.
