How do I know what portion of wages from military pay qualifies for IL military pay exclusion?

Probably all of your military pay qualifies for exemption from IL tax. 

For a list of what military pay can and cannot be subtracted, see the attached screenshots from Publication 102 Illinois Filing Requirements for Military Personnel.

Probably all of your military pay qualifies for exemption from IL tax.
