Lower my debt

What are some ways to lower my debt

A lot depends upon the type of debt I suppose, but there's the idea of spending less that you make each week and putting the extra towards paying down the debt. Easier said that done, even for me. Maybe getting a side job for a little while and putting all that money towards the debt?
