Why is rental income showing up as royalty income? How do I fix this?

Was the income reported to you on a 1099-MISC in box 1, and maybe you entered it in the program in box 2?

When in the rental summary section and you elected to "EDIT" your rental, did you select "royalty income" instead of indicating this was a rental maybe?

Check those things.
