Where do I report long term capital gains from the 1099-B report from my brokerage firm?

You don't report the gains. You report the sales. TurboTax will calculate the gain from the sales and put all the information in the right places on your tax return.


In the Search box type "investment sales" (without the quotes), then click the link that says "Jump to investment sales."
