I only have one royalty in the federal return. When I get to the state return it lists a rental property that I owned years ago. It shows up on the Schedule E. I am unable to find a way to delete this entry.
I removed the state return and redid the state, after double checking the federal royalty entry. Nothing is working

The easiest way to delete a form in TurboTax is as follows:
1. Choose the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar
2. Choose Tools
3. Choose the Delete a form option under Other Helpful links
4. Find the errant schedule E in the list of forms and delete it
My issue, I believe, is a software issue. I was told to delete everything and restart. I did this and the phantom rental property still appeared on the State Schedule E.
Please clarify which state you are working with so we can provide a specific answer. Also, which version of TurboTax are you using?
I use the online version of TurboTax - with a Safari browser Version 17.2.1 (19617.1.17.11.12)
The state is PA.
I am going to assume the version of TurboTax is in this URL....
Does the Schedule E for the rental property have the same address as the royalty property? Are there any other entries on this Schedule E? Have you reviewed the Rental/Royalties topic to be sure this property is not listed on your return.
Finally, confirm that you identified and confirmed the deletion of this schedule from your online return.
