Rent paid with a 1099-Misc

After years of doing my taxes on Turbo Tax it just dawned on me that I might be taxing myself twice on the same dollars.  When prompted, I enter the information on my 1099-MISC for payments made through the housing authority.  However, I also enter the total rents collected under each apartment.  Am I not supposed to enter the 1099-MISC since I'm already putting the rent with the associated apartment?  

 

 I don't see where the 1099-MISC gets 'tied' to any particular apartment.  I also don't want to NOT enter them if I'm supposed to be.

Rent paid with a 1099-Misc

When you enter your rental income by property, you will be asked if the rent income was reported on a Form 1099-Misc. If so, you should enter the Form 1099-Misc there and it will be allocated to the correct property:
