Prior year recapture on installment sale

I included an installment sale in my prior year’s tax return which required depreciation recapture. All recapture was reported as ordinary income in prior year. In the current year, the recapture is showing up on line 25 of Form 6252, which would be included in current year income. The software won’t let me override this line. How do I make this line zero out?
