NY Nonresident Busines Allocation schedule

My son lives in Florida where he goes to school, and went to NY in 2023 for an internship (69 days), for which he earned income. He also work in Florida; I understand I have to file a state tax form for NY. Do I have to fill out the form about Nonresident Business Allocation schedule?

It is very confusing and before that, where it asked to enter the amount derived from NY sources, I put everything that shows on NY W-2, then it asked if I allocated the income based on the volume of business transacted, I said "NO", is that correct? After that it comes the question about if I still need to file out the nonresident Business Allocation Schedule to allocate NY state business income, do I have to? if "YES" , what is the easiest form to fill this out, any example will help.
