L1 Spouse (L2 Visa) with EAD and Passive Income Investment?

Hello,

I would like to know if it is ok for an L2 Spouse with EAD to have money invested in an automated portfolio that will be managed by the bank?

Of course.  Anyone can have money invested in the United States.  But that money gets taxed by the United States even if that person were to repatriate to their own country.
