Insurance Claim Payout for Rental House Fire

Hello - The house I was renting caught on fire last year. The insurance paid out the claim money to the mortgage (because I still owe on it) that they then gave to my contractor to fix the house. All the money was used to fix the house, I didn't get an extra payout or any money from the claim. Do I have to pay taxes on this money?

it's not taxable even if you don't use the insurance proceeds to rebuild.
