I sold two cows as a capital asset with no cost basis. Where do I need to report this?

If these were your cows, you should report this on Schedule F Profit or Loss from Farming. Line 2 says "Sales of livestock, produce, grains, and other products you raised". If that is why you have no basis, then report it there. You do not have to first enter them as a capital asset for Schedule F. You can also include expenses you had for feeding, veterinary care, supplies, etc.
