I put an amount that was in Box 8 on my 1099 DIV into the box 7 spot on my tax form. How can I correct that? I have no box 7 on my 1099 DIV.

go back to federal taxes / wages and income scroll down to interest and dividends, click update for dividends scroll down to the 1099 payer and click update to correct entries.
