I paid fees and expenses with my investment company, but on my 1099 DIV and other forms it doesn't have that listed. Is it a tax write off? If so where do I list it?

The tax reform law that was passed in 2017 eliminated the deduction for investment fees and expenses for 2018 through 2025.

Do I disable Lifetime Learning Credit? Job gave $5k, covers school. TT won't disable LLC. Should I enter $5k under "Employer-Provided Assistance?" It increases fed due.
