I'm confused about Property Taxes on a rental room in my primary home.
It appears that  Turbo taxis showing them twice.

When you enter your rental expenses, you have the option of letting TurboTax to the math for you with respect to splitting the shared expenses between the rental and personal sections of your tax return, or doing that yourself. You may have chosen the wrong response in that section and that can result in the expenses being doubled up.

I suggest you multiply the property tax by the rental portion percentage of your house, then deduct that from the property tax amount and enter the result as your itemized deduction for property tax.
