I have a Form 1099-R can I use the simple form for taxes?
When it comes to the IRS 1040 tax forms, there is no more "simple" form. Back in the day prior to 2018 you'd probably use the 1040-EZ. But that doesn't exist anymore. It's a straight 1040 for everybody. That's it.
Now you "might" qualify for the free version of TurboTax if your income is low enough, and the income sources aren't complex. So check it out at http://www.freefile.com/
