I had out of pocket airfare and rental car expenses for military reserve duty, can I claim that and if so, where?

I live in California fly to Minnesota for military duty one weekend a month.  I usually get a rental car since MN doesn't provide transportation or additional meals and I have to obtain that on my own.

If you have enough itemized deductions to benefit from itemizing, you can deduct your travel expenses in TurboTax by using the following tabs:

  1. Federal
  2. Deductions and Credits
  3. Employment Expenses
  4. Job Expenses for W-2 income
