I got the self-employed version but I need to enter rental property purchse

where can i enter my rental property in this version?  Do I need a different (Premier) version of turbo tax?

No, you do not need a get the Premier version.  TurboTax Self-Employed edition covers rental situations. 

To enter your rental information, go to:

1.  After sign into your account, select Take me to my return 

2.  At the right upper corner, in the search box , type in schedule e then Enter 

3.  Select Jump to schedule e and follow the prompts

4.  On screen, Income from Rentals or Royalty Property Your Own, answer Yes

5.  Continue to follow step-by-step interview questions to enter your rental info.
