The ability to deduct your Medicare premiums on Schedule A as an itemized deduction is not new. However, you will have to exceed the standard deduction for your filing status to make itemizing worth your while.

Regarding the savings bonds, you can just proceed past this section if you don't have any.

My MIL has a W2 for non-taxable Medicaid Waiver payments. Box 1 is $50K. Boxes 3/5 are $5K. Is the 5K of this taxable? How do I put this in the software?
