I didn't mean to put that I own rental property, but it won't let me go back and change it?

You'll need to delete all the rental related tax forms.

  1. Type rentals in the search box and click Jump to rentals.
  2. Answer Yes you want to review your rental and None of the above regarding Real Estate Professional.
  3. On the Rental and Royalty Summary screen, click on Delete next to the rental.
  4. Confirm that you want to delete the rental.

If the above does not work, here's the general procedure for viewing the forms list and deleting unwanted forms, schedules, and worksheets in TurboTax Online:

  1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
  2. In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
  3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
  4. Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions. Source: TurboTax FAQ
