I co-own a rental property with my spouse. If I don't want to use my allotted depreciation for the year but she does, can we each have a different UCC for the property?

You have no choice regarding depreciation. The IRS prescribes a percentage and useful life for residential rental property. Upon the sale, you are required to recapture depreciation allowed or allowable. This means you pay tax on the amount of depreciation attributed to the property, whether you took it or not.
