I am being asked to fill out how many days I rented out my house. I did not rent it out this year. How do I get rid of the schedule E so I can file? I never added it.

Did not add the schedule e this year or fill out any info for it.  It is just there at the end saying I need to fix it for both California and Federal

Schedule E may have carried over from the previous year's tax return but is not needed in the current year's tax return.
