You'll have to select import in TurboTax. Here are the instructions:

1. In TurboTax, search for the form you want to import, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-B.
2. Select the Jump to 1099XXX.
3. On the Let's import your tax info screen, type in your financial institution. For example Vanguard.
4. When you select the type of Vanguard account you have, the next screen will read Let's import your tax info. You'll need to enter your Vanguard Account Number and Document ID. Both the account number and document ID will be on your Vanguard statement. The document ID will be in the upper right hand corner of your Vanguard Statement.

Repeat the steps to import from TD Ameritrade.
