How do you get Turbotax to quit thinking that you are trying to enter both rental and royalty information on the same form?

The software thinks that the royalty 1099"s are going to a rental property. But this royalty property transferred from the prior year.

Did you enter the 1099's under the Royalty Property Income topic? Or did you enter them under Income from 1099? Also, check to be sure you entered the income in Box 2 for 1099-MISC.

If you entered under the 1099 topic, go back and delete (trashcan icon) those entries. Then go to your Royalty Property and enter them under the Royalty Income topic.
