What makes your living expenses something that you would report on a tax return? This is *NOT* a rhetorical question. There "are" valid answers. For example, if you are a college student who received a 529 distribution reported to you on a 1099-Q, then your rent and utilities can be claimed against that distribution if certain specific criteria are met.
