How do I enter the sale of S-corp stock back to my company. When I try to enter it, it wants to know what broker the 1099-B came from. There is no 1099-B.

To enter your stock sale without a 1099B;

1.  Go the the section under Income & Expenses entitled Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other, Choose Edit/Add or Start

2.  Add a Sale and Choose Other on the next screen

3.  On the "Tell us More about this Sale", you can enter the company that purchased your shares if there was no broker involved.

4.  Choose Other as the Type of investment on the next screen and fill in the information regarding your stock, the sales price, the date acquired and sold, etc.

5.  Continue through the onscreen prompts.
