Hi I entered my foreign stock sales on TT. Since I don't have the exact dates of purchase I left them "-blank" or "various dates." But it doesn't go through at the end.

When the software reviewed my return, it keeps asking me to enter the "date acquired" for my foreign stocks. I entered an approximate one just to try but it keeps repeating asking me and doesn't go through. What should I do?

It depends. Did you enter an acquired date for each stock listed. This is important information to know to determine if these are long-term or short-term capital gains? If you entered this information once, you may need to enter several times if you reported more than one stock transaction.
