Hi, I borrowed money from my HELOC to loan a friend for an investment property flip. He gave me a 1099INT but where do I deduct the interest i paid to lower my gains

If the HELOC qualifies, that interest you paid on that HELOC is included on the interest statement you received from the lender.

Any interest you "received" is taxable income to you.

However, if "might" be offset by the interest you paid on your HELOC loan, if that loan actually qualifies.
