Form 1065 Box 20a (investment expense) v. business deduction

I have investment fees to include in Form 1065, but I'm debating to whether to use Box 20a (investment expense) or show them as business deduction. One thing I noticed is that if I put the investment fees in box 20a, the net income/(loss ) calculation is not impacted while if I put it as a business deduction, my income is decreased. How should show the expenses I incurred for investment management fees? Thanks

Investment expenses are fully deductible for your business. You can list them as a business deduction in Other deductions and put Investment fees as the description.
