Choice of AMT depreciation or regular depreciation for a rental house

In my rental property depreciation calculation, the Turbotax is using a formula: depreciation = (House_Cost – Land_Cost)/27.5 + “AMT Adjustments Preferences”, which is shown in Form 4562 Alternative Minimum Tax Depreciation Report. I don’t understand why this “AMT Adjustments Preferences'' has to be added since after 1998 the AMT depreciation adjustment is not required. But in the software, I can’t find where to remove or add this “AMT Adjustments Preferences”. It did automatically. Thanks for any help.
