CF-1040 (Battle Creek) Question 11

I have been racking my brain on what I need to put in this cell to have the error go away.

Question 11:  Rental real estate, royalties, partnerships, S corps, trusts, etc.  (Attach copy of federal schedule E)

It is column "C" (taxable resident income)

I do not live in Battle Creek nor do I have rentals in battle creek.  I earned money in battle creek due to working at a factory in battle creek.

I am not clear as to what this question is looking for?  I would think it would auto populate from another form however, it isn't and all of the numbers I have put in here it keeps bringing me back for an error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

CF-1040 (Battle Creek) Question 11

You should enter zero there.   Is there anything in column A?   If you do not have any rental property or business activity in Battle Creek, there should be no taxable income from Schedule E on that return.  It should only show your wages earned in Battle Creek.    When you go through the city return interview questions in the MI state return, you tell TurboTax which amounts from your federal return are sourced in that state/locality (city).   If you are unable to change the amount to zero, you will have to exit the review area and go back over the Battle Creek questions in TurboTax.
