Capital loss carryover bug

There appears to be a bug, or at a minimum some poor wording in worksheets.

I had $6500 capital loss in 2018.

3k used to offset wages in 2018 tax year, filed last year.

On the 2nd page of the Capital Loss Carryover edit worksheet, it breaks it down correctly:

Capital loss carryover from 2018: $3500

Capital loss used in 2019: $3500

Loss carried forward to 2020: $0

I have other capital gains in 2019, so the $3500 usable makes sense.

When I complete this worksheet, it says "We hope this $3500 tax break gives you a boost"

But on the Your Income screen, it shows the $3500 on 2018, not 2019. It shows 0 on 2019.

I'm thinking it might have something to do with having Cryptocurrency gains in the Income worksheet.

Please fix this, I'm on the verge of finding new software for taxes.

Looking into this issue.

Capital loss carryover bug

After looking into the issue, the value the shows on the Wages & Income section is correct.  The value that shows there is the carryforward amount to next year.  You successfully used all of your carryover loss from the prior year against your current year gains.
