2023 Amended Tax Does not Rest to Zero

I am trying to amend my 2023 taxes which have been submitted to the IRS 5 weeks ago. When I select Amend it opens the file and correctly shows the amount of my payment. As soon as I selected Amend, TurobTax immediately adds about $2300 as payment due before I may any entries. It should reset to zero. It seems it is not pulling from the AGI line as the starting point.

I went back and re-entered the information correctly in my original file so I could verify the amount I should have received back had the missing information been entered correctly so I know what the change should be. However when I amend, it is off by about $2300.
