1099 Misc Other investment income

My 1099 Mics. income from my investments was being added as business income and causing a schedule C to be created. A schedule C is not required for this income. All of the posts I saw suggested checking the box

No, it didn't involve an intent to earn money

However this box never appeared as an option. In order or fix this I had to go directly to the forms section and delete the schedule C and then go to the 1099 Misc. form and check the box "Other Income"
