interest on home loan

when we input our interest and what we pay on our property taxes, it did not move the number amount on the (shows your refund amount) area. so I thought this would be counted as a deduction. the amount was $8,367.00 on interest and $1,994.00 for property taxes.

are those your only itemized deductions? if so, you are taking the standard deduction because your itemized deductions are below $12,200 ($24.400 if joint)
