Since the Pennsylvania Local Services Tax does not figure in to the PA state return, you could combine the amounts of the LST for the Box 14 entry on your W-2. Its category would be Other deductible state and local tax. If you are itemizing deductions, TurboTax will automatically add these amounts to your state and local income taxes paid on Schedule A.

You enter your income from the exercise of incentive stock options (ISO's) in the Other Tax Situations section of TurboTax, then Alternative Minimum Tax. In that section, on the screen that says Do you have any of these uncommon situations? choose the first option I exercised ISO's in the 2025, etc... Then work through the rest of that section.

I filled mid march with zero in lines 4a and 4b, as per the Turbotax error. Unfortunately the IRS accepted the return. My refund never showed up and the IRS transcript suggest that the IRS computed line 4a for me (with a positive amount) and not 4b. Line 4b should have been the negative of 4a. This obviously results in higher computed taxes. I have not heard from the IRS yet. It looks like Turbotax has fixed the problem. Should I file an amended return?

You can pay TurboTax fees using a credit/debit card or by deducting them from your federal refund (which adds a ~$40 processing fee). State filing fees are typically paid by card during the "File" step, and state taxes owed can be paid directly to the state or via electronic withdrawal.

Yes, you are correct on this. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) increase the amount of state and local taxes allowed when itemizing deductions.
The deduction on itemized deductions has been increased under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) passed this year.
STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ... any taxable year beginning in calendar year 2025, $40,000.
Key details regarding the 2025 SALT deduction:
Married Filing Separately: The cap for 2025 is $20,000.
Income Phase-Out: The $40,000 cap is reduced for taxpayers with a modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) over $500,000 ($250,000 for married filing separately).
Phase-Out Floor: The deduction cap will not drop below $10,000 ($5,000 for married filing separately) regardless of income level.
Duration: The $40,000 cap is effective from 2025 through 2029, increasing by 1% annually, before returning to $10,000 in 2030.
Requirement: To claim this deduction, you must itemize your deductions on Schedule A

Yes, it’s important to remind the user base that importing from last year is a convenience, not a necessity: until you get deep into the tax calculations, when the prior year numbers become much more important, in ways the average user will not understand. Bottom line: Intuit continues to damage, delete, and destroy functionality for the desktop product, while steadfastly refusing to respond to users’ inquiries and complaints. There is a large segment of a user base which will never convert to the online product, for reasons of privacy. It is not smart to abuse that segment of your customer base.

To find the bank information or other payment method used for an IRS tax payment, log in to your IRS Online Account to view your payment history or download a tax transcript. Alternatively, check your filed tax return copy (or 'Filing Instructions' page) or review your personal bank statement for the ACH withdrawal. It's normal for them to take a few days to take payment at this time of year.
IRS Online Account: View your payment history to see which bank account was used.
Tax Return Copy: Look at the 'Filing Instructions' or Federal Information Worksheet (Part V) in your tax software or paper return for direct debit details.

Sounds like something got stuck. You can try these things:
Log Out Completely: Before doing anything else, click Sign Out in the TurboTax menu.
Clear Cache and Cookies: This removes old, "corrupted" data that might be confusing the website.
Use an Incognito (Private) Window: This is the most effective "quick fix" because it launches the browser without any saved history or extensions (like AdBlockers) that often interfere with tax forms.
Check Pop-up Blockers: TurboTax often opens forms (like the 1099 PDF) or payment windows in a separate pop-up. Look at the right side of your address bar for a small icon with a "red X"—click it and select "Always allow pop-ups from Intuit."
Restart the Browser: Close all open windows of your browser entirely and then reopen it.
Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.

The -02 means dependent 2.
If a dependent mistakenly indicated no one can claim them and causes a rejection of the parent's return, the IRS now allows the first-listed (primary) taxpayer (such as the parent) to get an IP PIN and still successfully efile and avoid having to file a return on paper. Your dependent will need to amend their return to indicate someone else is claiming them. See this TurboTax FAQ for help with amending.
The IP Pin will change each and every year. This is an Identity Protection Pin.
You can get an Identity Protection pin here, or if you lost your IP PIN, you can go here to Retrieve IP PIN.
Here are two ways to navigate to the section to enter the 6 digit IP PIN:
Log in and open your return ("Take me to my return")
Once the return is open, then go to the Federal Taxes tab.
Subtab Other Tax Situations
Scroll down to Other Return Info.
Choose Identity Protection PIN and Start (or Revisit.)
Next screen asks: "Did you or any of your dependents get an IP PIN from the IRS for this year's taxes?"
Or another way:
Open your return if not already open. ("Take me to my return.")
Once the return is open, click at the top on MY ACCOUNT, then choose TOOLS.
In the Tools window choose TOPIC SEARCH.
Enter IP PIN without quotes.
In the selection list highlight IP PIN and click GO.
Next screen asks: "Did you or any of your dependents get an IP PIN from the IRS for this year's taxes?"
There is a new procedure the IRS started last year for TY2024. It allows returns that claim dependents who have already been claimed on another taxpayer’s return to be efiled.

Buy less and you'll have fewer physical items to donate and less to be concerned about with respect to itemizing charitable contributions of items. Alternatively, donate the items and, out of your very charitable heart, forget about keeping track of each and every piece of old, used crap you donate in order to get a write-off on your tax return. Another alternative = DONATE CASH! That is what EVERY SINGLE charitable organization prefers to receive, anyway, and can use 100%, not your old junk that they may or may not be able to sell AND that's an absolute no-brainer to enter on your tax return.
