Yes. You can claim your share of medical expenses, including copays and prescription medications, as deductible medical expenses if you itemize deductions on Schedule A. These expenses must be unreimbursed and exceed 7.5% of your adjusted gross income (AGI) to qualify. To enter these expenses in TurboTax: 1. Go to the Deductions & Credits section. 2. Scroll down to Medical and select Start or Update next to Medical Expenses. 3. Enter your total unreimbursed expenses, including copays and prescription medication costs. TurboTax will calculate the deductible portion based on your entries and the 7.5% AGI threshold.

Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted? Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.   You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".   After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.   Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.  Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.   To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product. If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_...   What is the status of your e-filed tax return?  If e-filed, what is the status of your federal tax refund?

Same problem on my Windows 11 laptop.  I couldn't find a workable solution anywhere, so I consulted Copilot (AI) and got a good solution.  Here is Copilot's summary of the solution: Many TurboTax 2025 users find that the program won’t bring forward their 2024 tax information, and a common cause is that the .tax2024 file is stored in OneDrive instead of on the local hard drive. Even though OneDrive appears as a normal Documents folder, TurboTax often treats cloud‑synced locations as external or restricted storage and refuses to read the file. The solution is to copy the .tax2024 data file out of OneDrive and into a truly local folder such as C:\Users\Documents or Documents\TurboTax\2024. Then restart TurboTax 2025, choose the option to browse for last year’s file, and select the local copy. Once the file is stored locally, the import works immediately.

Did you receive an IRS notice in the Mail?  If so, what does the IRS indicate for why they changed your tax return from receiving a refund to owing taxes?  The notice is usually very detailed.
