Since you are claiming him, he's considered to be in your tax family. Iff he's in your tax family, you must include the 1095-A on your return. However, what's between his father and you is how much of the premiums are allocated on his father's return to his son.   This can range from 0% to 100% of all premiums. The effect on your refund is unknown. Further, if your son is required to file a tax return, his modified adjusted gross income must be reported on line 2b of Form 8962.   son's modified adjusted gross incoome 1. Enter son's AGI from Form 1040, or 1040-NR, line 11................... 2. Enter son's tax-exempt interest from Form 1040, 1040-SR, or 1040-NR, line 2a............ 3. Enter any amounts from son's Form 2555, lines 45 and 50........................... 4. Son's Form 1040: If line 6a is more than line 6b, subtract line 6b from line 6a and enter the result.......................... 5. Add lines 1 through 4. Enter here and on your Form 8962, line 2b.........................

Are you on Windows or Mac?  For Windows, how did you do them in the past?  In the Online QEF Quick Employer Forms or within the program on your desktop?  Did you look in your Documents  for all files ending in .tax2024?  Mine is on my D: drive Documents in a Turbo Tax folder.   Or for the Online QEF version  you need to log into the same account.  Maybe you have another account.   How to view all your accounts https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/account-management/many-intuit-accounts-turbotax/L9aVfKS1Z_US_en_US?uid=ll5g6zcx It's common to end up with multiple accounts. First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery/

I am experiencing the same thing. I came in from the main web page "Apply for Refund Advance" when you efile!" I even cancelled my initial filing and made sure I was using the Refund Advance link from the main page. It told me I would receive an approval or denial after my return was accepted by the IRS, but I have not received anything regarding this. I am not prepared to wait until "early March", I would have filed with H&R or Jackson Hewitt if I had known Turbo Tax advances were not actually being given!
This worked for me as well!!!  Thanks for the suggestion.  Intuit Support wasn't able to help me.

My son had Marketplace Insurance from his father (I carried private insurance for him). My taxes for 2025 are being rejected for not having a 1095-A form. I wasn’t aware of how his insurance was obtained until today when I filed as it’s my year to claim our son (we alternate years).  Do I need to get the 1095-A from his father, even thought it’s not not plan?  Does this offset my return amount?  
Did anybody get back to you about this issue yet?  I am having the same issue.  I guess I can print it out and mail it in. :(

I’m fairly certain if you download the desktop version from the products section and purchase the license code it’ll unlock the loop. I’m stuck in the same situation but I don’t think it’s fair we should have to purchase a product just because they locked us. 
I will do so. Thank you. I was going off of the PDF copy on the CRA site and it didn't show that box. I will keep my eyes open for it and keep checking. Thanks again!
I had a long update today and then the activation  started .  I tried my old files from 2024 and suddenly the same thing.  moved my files to  C:\Users\myname\Documents\Turbotax and now it works.

There is no communication between the front line experts and their operations. They and TT customers are left in the dark and deemed irrelevant. There is nobody to offer real guidance and they only communicate canned responses. 
I was told by TurboTax to fill out a refund request form because I shouldn’t have been charged 167 dollars. But it says my order number is invalid.

That is not working the application says you have to enter a negative value.
