The system is telling me to "go ahead and work on other sections" while they complete software for 1099R income, but that is the core of our filing!

To clarify yes its the 1098 form I am a US citzen but out of the country and I can't get into my marketplace account to get my form. I csnnot csll as I am out of the country and they don't do email. So I csnnot get a hold of someone to explain my situation. I am a US citizen who had marketplace insurence, they locked me out of my account snd I csnnot reset my dexterity questions as I need to csll but it won't let me call as I am out of the country for the time being. I csnnot file taxes without the form
When I enter my old email I get a message that there is no TurboTax account associated with that email but I have emails about my taxes done with turbotax in that email dating back to 2010

@ woodbridge2  I don't know about the refund amount.   This time of year the program is still getting a lot of updates, so that might have changed something affecting the refund amount.   But first, are you sure you actually efiled?   If you haven't actually filed, then you can examine everything again and print out a copy of your returns to examine before transmitting them.   People should always print and review prior to filing.   Are you sure you continued on to completion after paying?  In order to efile, after paying, you still have to go through several more screens, provide the 2024 AGI for verification, electronically "sign" your return with a 5-digit signature PIN, your birthday, and today's date, then at the last screen click a big orange button "Transmit Returns Now."    Did you do all that?   If so, then you should have gotten an email that the return(s) was/were transmitted.   If you didn't do all that, then you may not have actually efiled.   Log into your account, and go to the Tax Home page (or it may automatically open in the Tax Home.)  What status is showing at the Tax Home page for the Federal and state returns?     For each, does it say pending, accepted, rejected, printed, started, or something else?    And what state is it?
Other developers are having the same issues and the same section has not been finalized yet either.

How to look for multiple accounts and regain account access:       You can have up to 5 accounts that use the same email address for notification purposes.  A User ID may be an email address, but it doesn't have to be.  It might be only part of an email address, or it can be anything at all.   To get a list of your User IDs, reset password, and recover account access, etc., you can use the tool at the link below.  When using the Account Recovery tool, try using your phone number first if you can still access it.   After that, if necessary, then run the tool on each of your email address(es) you can access. NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop.  Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below.  You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session. https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery If still no luck after running that on your phone number you can still access and email address(es) that you can access,  here's another method: Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, scroll down a bit, then choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by other parameters.

Did you recently efile your 2025 return, and is your efile status at "pending?"   If so, you cannot amend a return while it is in "pending"  status.   You have to wait and see if the IRS accepts or rejects the filing when their processing  opens up on January 26.    If rejected, you don't have to prepare an amended return;  in that case you could simply make whatever changes you need to make and resubmit it.    If it's accepted, however, and if you need to change it, that would require an amended return.      If you ultimately need to amend the return,  that Form 1040-X module in TurboTax will not be available until around February 19.  Before amending, if you are getting a Federal refund, you should wait on your original return to fully process and that you have received your refund.   After you receive your refund, then you can prepare an amended return, if needed.   In the meantime, do not make any changes in your originally submitted return.   If you need to prepare an amended return, your return has to start off exactly as it was when it was originally filed.   FAQ:  What is the IRS Form 1040-X? https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tips/amend-return/what-is-the-irs-1040x-form/L7BPCydsv   FAQ:  How can I amend my Federal tax return? https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/amend-tax-return/amend-federal-tax-return/L6oZ2W9vN_US_en_US   TurboTax Tax Tip:  How to File an Amended Tax Return https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tips/amend-return/how-to-file-an-amended-return-with-the-irs/L6kO691J8
