that does not work. The form - if you would look at it -- starts out with NO on all the very first questions, so you are not going to get the credit BECAUSE THE software is WRONG.

I dont see any dates or anything in any place, and there is no transcript for it either. I feel like I gave clear and proper information for someone to assist in my last post, maybe you just didn't understand

My LLC in NC was adiminstrativly dissolved in Dec 2025 because I forgot to file the annual report in time. I plan to file for reinstatement over the next couple of weeks but want to get my taxes done and filed this week. The reinstatement process could also take several weeks. How do I go about answering the question that asks if the business stopped business during the ‘25 year? It didn’t but the state did dissolve it.

Same situation that I have. Would you please provide the information that HR Block gave as to why we need to wait until February 13th? I was under the impression that this was a TT issue, but it seems that it may be IRS? This will be my last year using TT - it has degraded greatly over the years. Thank you for posting.

I download the hardcopy 1099 consolidated from E*Trade and TurboTax software didn't give any errors when I tried downloading it. It just is was downloaded but when I return to TurboTax there is no data. So maybe not ready for TurboTax download, but in past years the software wouldn't try unless E*Trade data was ready.

Some states are fairly quick with refunds, while other states can take a long time processing returns--even several weeks--as they crack down on detecting fraudulent returns. Here are some things you should check: First, you need to be sure your state return was successfully filed. If you efiled, be sure your efiled state return was accepted. If you used Online TurboTax, you can check by looking at the Tax Home in your Online account. Or did you choose to file by mail instead? TurboTax does not mail it for you. If you chose that method, you have to print, sign, date, and mail it. The FAQ below tells how to check on a state refund. When you scroll down further there, you will see a link for your state. That is correct. If you hit the $40,000 limit on Schedule A, you cannot bypass it by re-characterizing personal property taxes as business expenses beyond the allowed home-office percentage.

@ raeledwards wrote: I'm confused and need help. I filed and got accepted on 1/29. The IRS website has not updated for a week, but I was told by a Turbo Tax representative that It got accepted and was pending to get into my account, but I have no proof of that information in any capacity, can someone help me understand what's happening please! Go by the IRS refund lookup tool. That tool updates every day. See the 3 stages I provided below. "IRS website has not updated for a week" is not enough information. Has not updated from what??? What do you see at the IRS "Where's My Refund" website? https://www.irs.gov/wheres-my-refund Is your return showing up in that tool and is still processing, or has the IRS approved and sent the refund and provided an expected deposit date? It seems awfully quick for a refund if that's the case. "Where's My Refund" website tool goes through 3 stages: Return Received – IRS received your return and is processing it. Refund Approved – IRS approved your refund and is preparing to issue it by the date shown. Refund Sent – IRS sent the refund to your bank or to you in the mail. It may take 5 days for it to show in your bank account or several weeks for your check to arrive in the mail. Most returns are processed and refunds sent within 21 days after acceptance, but this time of year can be an exception. If your return has any credits for EIC or ACTC the IRS cannot legally release refunds until after February 15 (due to the PATH Act.) As a result, filers who have those types of credits in their returns may not see Federal refunds until late February or early March.
