Taxes on Benefits for widow

My husband passed away Jan 2023. I was listed as the beneficary of his life insurance policies,his pension and investment accounts. Should I have to pay taxes on any of these? I didn't think life insurance policies were taxable. He owned the policies at the time of his death, I was just the beneficary.

No, life insurance payments are not taxable. You pay no inheritance or other taxes for assets inherited from your spouse.
