Healthcare: dental deductions:

My wife recently got Dental implants, I understand Dental implants: are Healthcare tax deductible, they are a huge deduction, over $50,000. we use Turbo app on our PC. Do I need to enter supporting documents, and how /where do I add them?

Healthcare: dental deductions:

Hello PJ24,

Yes, you can deduct dental expenses. You do not need to provide any supporting docs when you file a tax return but keep as record and provide to IRS if they ever ask for it. On TurboTax, you only report the total amount under "Deductions & Credit" -> Medical Expenses.
