Ask the Experts | Extension Filers

Join us on Wednesday, Sept 25th any time between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Pacific Time for our latest installment of our Ask the Experts event series. This time we'll be answering questions about the upcoming tax deadline for our Extension Filers.

Come spend a minute, an hour, or the whole day in the TurboTax Community forums. We'll have Tax and Financial Experts live - waiting to give you tax or personal finance advice for free! There’s no limit on how many questions you can ask—we’re up for the challenge and ready to answer things like:

How do I know if I have all the info I need to file my taxes?
I'm still missing a necessary tax document to finish my taxes, what should I do?
Am I going to have penalties for filing this late?
What happens if I make a mistake as I rush to get my taxes filed?
Help! I’m stuck and can’t move past a question in the TurboTax software.

How the day will work:

Our team of Experts will be in the TurboTax Community from 9:00am to 5:00pm Pacific Time on Wednesday, Sept 25th ready to tackle your tough questions and engage in conversation with you. Just click the teal “Ask a Question” button at the top of our special event forum to start a conversation!

You can easily recognize our Experts out in the forums. If they have the Expert icon by their names, they are TurboTax employees. If they have the Champ icon by their names, they are not employed by TurboTax, but they are very knowledgeable.

When you receive an answer, you’ll get a notification (check the bell icon in the upper right corner). You’ll also receive an email notification. Our goal is to answer every question that comes our way before the event is over!
