Amended tax return status

After 2 months since I submitted an amended tax return the ONLINE IRS AMENDED TAX RETURN still does not show any status?

Did you e-file your amended return? If you did, was it definitely accepted?

If you mailed in your amended return, it can take as much as 20 weeks to be processed, but even then you should see some information by now.
