When using TurboTax Online, you may be able to import your Uber income (1099-MISC, 1099-K) info after you’ve identified yourself as an Uber driver.
After you select to import from Uber, we’ll open a separate window where you can enter your Uber username and password and then consent for Uber to send us your tax documents. Once you’ve given your consent, the Uber window will automatically close and take you back to TurboTax where you’ll see that your documents have imported successfully.
During this process, we’ll only receive your Uber income information. We won’t have access to any other information, including your Uber credentials (username and password). Also, Uber won't have access to any of your tax information stored in TurboTax. We also won’t receive any of your driving expenses, such as those listed on your Uber Yearly Summary. You’ll have a chance to enter those expenses separately.
