Credit Score Thing

So I just did my taxes for the first time, I live in alaska away from my family but I moved around a lot when i was younger anyway. I checked my credit score and noticed that there are open accounts with balances on their. I was wondering are those people using my name.

suggest calling the credit card company for each line you do not believe is yours and discuss with them

at a minimum, you want to require that they close the account; that way no more charges can be made against the cards. 

you might also ask to see the documentation that authorized the accounts be opened in the first place because the signature should be on the paperwork.
